I am sorry to hear of your bad tim...Dear Farm Lady,<br />I am sorry to hear of your bad times. Last year was very rough on all dairy farmers throughout the United States. My husband and I are third generation dairy farmers from Michigan and have a son involved in the farm. We are very hopeful that milk prices will come up this year and have decided to forward contract milk to help ourselves. This strategy may or may not work-but we cannot risk the open market. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers, and hope you can receive better prices this year to get back on track.
